To measure your dog, simply take a tape measure and measure as shown in the illustration below:

A – The length of its back (from the base of the neck to the base of the tail)
B – The neck circumference (by being able to pass a finger between the meter and its neck)
C – The chest measurement (below the front legs)

Measuring your dog
Each brand has its own size guide, your dog may be XS in one brand and M in another. It is therefore important to take the measurements of your dog before ordering a garment.

The most important measurement for the choice of a garment is the chest size. It is on this measurement that you must base yourself to choose a garment, then on the neck size and finally on the back length.

You will find on all the product sheets of the store the exact sizes of the products.

In case of doubt and if your dog is between two sizes, we advise you to choose the top size for more comfort.

Important information

  • Be careful with the products used when cleaning your coat: they could irritate your dog’s skin.
  • Machine washable and dryable but I suggest you let it hang dry. The instructions on the fabric indicate that it is machine-dryable but in my opinion it is better to hang it up so that it does not lose its elasticity and waterproofness.
  • Be careful to let the fabric dry before your dog wears it to avoid irritation and discomfort. No one would wear wet clothes in the middle of winter anyway!
  • Don’t grumble if your dog takes a few weeks to get used to his new coat or boots, it’s perfectly normal. This process is always repeated in all dogs every winter or when the cold weather returns. Start by having him wear his coat and gradually introduce the little boots for a few minutes and gradually stretch the time until he can walk around without feeling uncomfortable. Create a positive association by giving him treats and encouraging him as you put the coat on and walk him around.
